Fokker Services Receives Multiple EASA ADS-B Out STCs
Fokker Services, a GKN Aerospace company, has received multiple Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its ADS-B Out modification. The Global Independent Aerospace Service Provider has received approval from the airworthiness authority to provide its solution to Airbus A320 Family aircraft, De Havilland Dash 8, Boeing 737 Next Generation, 747, 757, and 767, and recently for the Boeing 737 Classic (including cargo versions). With these STCs, Fokker Services works directly with airlines to equip aircraft with the upgrade needed to become compliant with the ADS-B Out mandates worldwide.
As announced by the European Commission on May 2020, the ADS-B Out mandate has been delayed until December 7, 2020, providing airlines operating in the European airspace additional time to equip their fleet.
Fokker Services’ ADS-B Out solution includes a range of hardware and upgrades, including the ATC Mode-S Transponders, the Global Navigation Satellite Sensors and antennas (GNSS), as well as wiring interfaces and flight deck indications. The team also provide advice on hardware needs, on-site assistance, ADS-B components support and repairs, and more.
