Fokker Services, a GKN Aerospace company, has received a new ADS-B Out Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Boeing 737 NG aircraft from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
This validated STC is the latest addition to a long list of ADS-B Out STCs from airworthiness authorities such as: the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); the Federal Air Transport Agency (FATA); and many others. With these approvals, Fokker Services works directly with airlines to equip Boeing 737 (Classic and NG), 747, 757, or Airbus A320 aircraft with the upgrade needed to become compliant with worldwide ADS-B Out mandates.
Fokker Services, as a Global Independent Aerospace Service Provider, has developed an ADS-B Out solution that includes LRUs for various OEMs, and a hardware installation kit. The kit contains ATC Mode-S Transponders, Global Navigation Satellite Sensors and antennas (GNSS), as well as wiring interfaces and flight deck indications. The team can also provide advice on hardware needs, on-site assistance, ADS-B components support and repairs, and much more.
