Business Update

Every morning, we are waking up to new developments on COVID-19. Around the world, we are all faced with challenges and changes in our industry as well as our daily lives. As we move through these trying times, we want to share the measures in place to ensure the health and well-being of our colleagues, and the business continuation plan we have established to keep our operations running.

Safety has always been our number one priority. At each of our locations – in the U.S., the Netherlands, and Singapore – we are following the various health authority recommendations and governmental advice. We have taken additional measures to continue supporting our customers under these circumstances and reduce the risk of exposure. This includes working from home where possible, travel restrictions, split shifts for our teams based in our facilities, and extra sanitization efforts.

Furthermore, we have confirmation from our freight forwarders that travel bans do not apply to cargo flights and this network will continue to support trade. Our logistics partners have indicated that contingency plans have been put in place to minimize services disruption and support continued operations.

We have all witnessed how quickly things can change. At Fokker Services, we are constantly monitoring the Coronavirus situation and actively evaluating mitigation procedures to evolve our plans when needed. We are doing our utmost to continue to support our customers, whilst ensuring the safety of our people.
