Fokker Services signs ABACUS Support Agreement with Ford Motor Co. corporate flight department

Atlanta, September 26, 2007 - Stork subsidiary Fokker Services today signed a long term ABACUS support agreement with the corporate flight department of the Ford Motor Company. This agreement ensures the most cost-effective aircraft rotable exchange and repair service for Ford’s fleet of Fokker 70 corporate shuttle aircraft.

Over 200 Fokker aircraft have been signed on to the ABACUS program with operators around the world. The Ford agreement comes hot on the heels of similar agreements concluded with Fokker operators in countries as diverse as Kazakhstan, Korea, Papua Niugini and Sweden.

Ford operates its Fokker 70s in a 48-seat corporate layout from its base at Detroit Metro airport on routes throughout North America serving the company’s diverse business interests.

Using its integrated design, manufacturing and support capabilities Fokker Services continues to support over 800 Fokker aircraft worldwide as well as numerous Bombardier Dash8, ATR-42 & 72 and various Airbus and Boeing aircraft with a wide range of support services from its main facilities in The Netherlands, Singapore and the US. Fokker Services also operates a completion center for VIP aircraft and it is an Airbus Approved Outfitter.
