The gyroscopes measure the aircraft heading, pitch and roll attitude and supply this information to other aircraft systems. Fokker Aviation is a specialist in the traditional 'gimballed' gyros.

We have years of experience and numerous special tooling and equipment for testing, repairing, and overhauling compasses and gyros in our Class 100,000 Clean Room.

Compass indicators present aircraft magnetic heading and ADF/VOR radio station- bearing information for the pilot. This compass indicator relies on high precision servo mechanisms and delicate moving coil assemblies.
