Fokker Services to do A321 VIP completion

Atlanta, September 25, 2007 - Stork subsidiary Fokker Services recently signed an agreement to do the conversion of a pre-owned Airbus A321 to ‘hi-end’ VIP aircraft for an undisclosed customer in the Middle East.

The bespoke interior will include a private bedroom with annex shower and restroom, conference / dining room, lounges and a private office as well as ample stowage / wardrobe space, galleys and lavatories.

The Airbus A321 is scheduled to arrive July 2008 at Fokker Services’ Completion Center in Woensdrecht, The Netherlands and will be delivered to the customer in the first quarter of 2009.

Fokker Services will perform the complete process of interior design, engineering, procurement and parts manufacture, installation and certification as well as various modifications to the basic aircraft.

This A321 conversion follows recent orders for ‘hi-end’ completions of a ‘green’ Airbus ACJ for the Austrian Stumpf Group and an Airbus A318 for an undisclosed customer in the Middle East.

Fokker Services’ completion center for VIP aircraft is an Airbus Approved Outfitter. Using its integrated design, manufacturing and support capabilities Fokker Services continues to support over 800 Fokker aircraft worldwide as well as numerous Bombardier Dash8, ATR-42 & 72 and various Airbus and Boeing aircraft with a wide range of support services from its main facilities in The Netherlands, Singapore and the US.
